One of the hardest parts of becoming a Makeup & Hair Artist is starting your journey. I can’t tell you how long it took for us to start. We always thought “one day we’ll start”, but that “one day” took years to come.

Friends and family would push us and say “you should do makeup,” “you should do this as a business,” etc., but we kept pushing that start date further and further out.

We were dreaming big but afraid to take the leap until one day we took one little step to learn more about the industry - we signed up for an online course. Then, we took another little step - we created a brand, and then another, before we knew it we had started Canvas Beauty Co. (Canvas MUAH at the time) and we never looked back.
